Looks to me like just a matter of punctuation missing. Treat each bubble like its own sentence and it works out fine.

A way to read that whole conversion is that she is saying that He is the Blade Demon, and he doesn't even know it.

Since he is convinced he's not the Blade Demon, he went out of his way to avoid the Blade Demon in his mercenary days

I don't care how rural your village is, how slow you get new information in town, or how rare it actually is. If zombies are a real thing in your world, you KNOW what to look out for. These are tales told by mothers to their children to keep them in line. Tales kids spread to scare friends.

You're not just going to walk up to a conjugated group of listless, meandering people with terrible shape language and not instantly know those are zombies- or at the very least, some sort of charmed thrall.

A chronic case of the "armor is useless" trope.

The mangaka could have at least let an character without metal plate equipment get bitten. Like a mage or rogue.

ambushed and decimated by zombies during the night. Not Revenants, just zombies. What were the guards doing? No idea

It's beyond me how these adventurers are black iron rank when their survival instinct is so low.

This manga started out decent but this arc is adding loopholes after loopholes combined with weak writing.
