Oh man... I've been following this manga for over 3 years and now it's coming to an end so I have a lot of thoughts flooding my mind. I won't lie, this chapter was a super-b read as usual and I have to say that I can even relate to Shizuku in the fact that books were something THAT changed my life forever.

IMHO, endings don't always have to be happy to be good. The ending of this manga, whatever the author writes and how Yuama does it, is going to leave an important mark on me. She has not disappointed me before so I 100% trust that she won't do it in the final chapter. I'm about to give it a solid 10/10 giggles

Thank you so much for translate this chapter. I hope we all could get to read and enjoy these final chapters.

P.D By the way I'm noticing a pattern in some yuri/GL mangas I'm reading and that's about the literature being something that makes the characters connects, either it's one of the main couple or both girls that has a bond with it. I wouldn't call it a yuri/GL trope like the aquarium dates but I think this aspect has something that makes more easible to embrance feelings. In this case it's not just about reading books but to write them as well which I believe it's one of the main strongs of this story.

It sucks that Shizuku won’t ever confess to Kaori.. that confession will make Kaori very happy. It is very sad..

thanks for the translation!

steeling myself for next chapter because there is very much a chance we see her death but at the same time who knows what will happen... could curveball could not, love that like lingering feeling of suspense that comes from not knowing.

this is definitely one of my favorite mangas to read as it comes out.

ffsk... my kokoro
Well, it really might not have been the best time but since last chapter i was eagerly waiting for Shizuku to confess to Kaori. Sure, doesnt help with the mood, but if we're talking about regrets not confession surely would be a massive one.
Either way, Kaori cant die... i dont want her too.

I really hope that there's a confession coming soon because every turn the story is making its as if it's making it clear that Kaori can pass away before or can pass away after that. I just want to see them Happy for a good amount of time:meguuusad:

Yuama-sensei really got us, happy ending isn’t always necessary, as long as it has content in it, any story that doesn’t have happy ending will leave impression to us the readers. either it’ll be big or small impact, it’s depend how we perceive the writer’s word through their story.

just like this manga :nyoron:
Content here does not mean "a thing that is contained in something", but is used as an adjective to mean satisfied, fulfilled, at peace. Kaori is saying that she wants the ending of Shizuku's novel to allow the characters to be at peace with where they are, even if they are not in a perfectly happy situation. Having no regrets, knowing that you have done everything you could and wanted to do, is one way of being at peace.
