The story shares the core premise of revenge and regression with Revenge of the Sword Clan's Hound. But this is the smarter version. This is still a shallow and stupid story of having too much knowledge in your MC and that knowledge being pulled out of the MC’s ass to save the day every time.

I mention the Hound story because if you read that one, it makes this seem like Isaac Asimov. The two are the same story but this author actually makes the right decisions and judgements based on how the MC alters the timeline. It’s predictable and theres no tension. But the MC doesn’t frustrate you by holding on to old shit from the past life that clearly no longer applies.

Not great, but far superior to the dogshit Hound story.

From 1-10, how would you rate this series?

The running theme for this series seems to be a love of setting up rules for the setting and then breaking those rules somehow. As much as I am still able to enjoy the overall progression I do find it concerningly predictable that rules WILL be broken even if I don't know exactly how. Friends are not friends, and enemies end up not being enemies. The strong aren't the strongest, the weak have more impact than they ought to. And it goes without saying that whatever you are told about the political situation and history, it's all a farce. That said, it is nice to see loyal people who stay loyal.

This particularly appeals to people of high school age who are more interested in edgy content. Once you're past that it's pretty mid, 7/10.

6.5/10 if it wasn’t for the art, it would be a 5/10. The story seems to drag on a bit too much. No matter how great MC is, the “villain” is always just a bit smarter since he has to be for the story to linger and meander. The story comes out swinging, but starts flailing around after round 2.

8.5/10 as far as I am concerned, simply because I value certain characteristics in an image-format narrative vastly more than others. Artstyle, pacing, world-building, narrative tone, and character interactions are all very enjoyable, therefore I am happy.

Art 7/10. Good but only slightly above average for this time and age
Storyline 8/10 extremely good storyline and development but a little too fast
Execution 6/10 not very good execution, pretty confusing and lots of plot armor as explanations. One good thing however is that it's consistent.
Overall 7/10. Good story and art but execution is kind of confusing and too much plot armor for the beginning. Really good read for the storyline but needs a rework with more explanation and slightly slower pace
I got this from the first 16 chapters so hopefully it gets better

Got to chapter thirty something. It got better. I would rate it about 8/10. Also why the hell is his nanny drawn to be so young looking? His nanny is probably 40+ already(been with mc since he was younger then 9 year old or something) she should be looking like an old woman not a goddamn potential mc's future wife

Let's make a list of op immunities the mc has.
1. Extreme fire resistance(practically complete immunity)
2. Poison immunity(to most poisons)
3. Overall damage resistance(mc has rucha-something body which is extremely resilient and resistant)
Honarable mention: mana resistance(effects almost every spell under 7 stars he later loses this so it doesn't really count)
Things that can effect him:
1. magic spells excluding fire
2. Strong physical damage
3. That's it
4. No seriously mc is op
