Somehow the prince selling mc so he can kill his own father makes him less stupid. Curious
It does. The overall logic is not sound because the country is in such dire straits, but the steps to take towards the goal are, if that makes sense. If all he gives a damn about is 'becoming the next king with unlimited power', then it makes sense to get rid of any naysayers with influence, like Philia, and kill his father, who clearly supports her. He's still stupid, but stupid due to greed, not due to emotions, which is a different kind of stupid.

Knight order skilled in spearmanship...
With a representative wielding a sword and logo with a shield and two swords.
Totally get ya, I had to search, research and confirm that the word used is related to “spear”.
There we go, Philia's shell finally cracked with worries over her sister. Meanwhile Mia is slowly taking her steps to become the next Demon Lord :glee:

Thank you for the chapter!
As how picky this manga is with titles, please call Mia Demon Ladyship xD.

No. Please. Let them fall. Ninja girl can probably extract her sister. But my god, let her old country just collapse.
Dude how many people do you think live in that kingdom? You think every single one of them are ungrateful bastards? The whole conceit of Mia’s planned long con is that there are innocent people in the country and Philia protecting them was her life’s work.

Honestly, I don't mind it. Little inconsistencies make the world a bit more believable than having everything perfectly structured and planned out.

I can believe there's some story, we don't need to be told, about how they made the knight order with its coat of arms because they used swords. Then, many decades later, they found spears were more useful and became skilled in them. But they didn't go back and change the coat of arms because of history/effort.

Considering what he spent the money on, and the fact that he continues to disregard the opinions of the single most key person for national defense (In this case, the new saintess Mia), he doesn't really appear to be less stupid, just recklessly ambitious.

Had to go back through previous chapters to remind myself that Grace is the Saintess from the country just north of Parnacotta that has basically been learning from scratch (and doing her best!) under Philia.

Exactly. He’s fucking over the country but he clearly both doesn’t care about his people and has a very limited understanding of how the country operates. He just figures he can deal with any problems later once he’s king and is all powerful without anyone to hold him back. Genuinely makes more sense than just selling a saint because she was too competent

Thanks for the TL again.
I await the way Philia can go back help Mia directly and the downfall of the idiot prince in the next few chapters.
That large scale barrier needs its core to be offset first though.

Something I've been kinda wondering though is how communication and items are sent and received to/from Himari at Gritonia from Parnacotta.
