this was definitely Satisfying. Prince was utterly destroyed and the corrupt noble backing him got betrayed by his own kids. Now that was sweet and certainly understandable. I’ve got no idea what their plan was after kill most of the royal family. There’s still a monster invasion going on and a coup seems inevitable once they can decide on who’s most qualified to be the next king. Probably some duke who’s 3rd cousins from the prince or something

One can be both smart and ignorant. The nobles are smart enough to orchestrate all this, but they most probably never saw the monsters or the tainted territories and could have assumed that it couldn't be that bad if it was never an issue before.

Julius made a jump in logic from being “engaged” to ”already married” with Mia. For a moment I thought I wasnt translating or understanding properly.
