The dome shape really bugs me. Still, if it's a rather low dome instead of a half sphere, and Philia only used a little more than half her mana to cover the country, a dome may be possible. The other saintesses could also have vast mana reserves, only being inferior to Philia (for now) due to less know-how. Or there could be some form of magical synergy happening by connecting several people's mana, making the resulting mana larger than just the combined mana they'd have unconnected. There are still ways to make a dome work. But I really want the mathematical explanation, since everybody in these fantasy mangas go on about the intricate calculations mages need to perform.as long as it is cylindrical and not domed, that should be the case (though we did see a panel suggesting it is domed. But I will just opt to assume that was mangaka drawing it wrong) then doing so only requires three times as many resources. Which those sisters might plausibly provide (they just need to collectively amount to 2 of mc).
then we change the manga title to "Mia, The Princess of Revenge"...Just binged through all of this.
Can we all agree Mia is the true protagonist here?
This is how a realist and pragmatic person would think. But alas most Mangakas will think of these things in black and white ideology with only a teensy tiny bit of grey here and there. This is a Shoujo Manga afterall. So hear me out... instead of execution... why don´t they send every single one of the traitors to the front lines, yes i know, it would mean that they have to go with guards to ensure that they fight and don´t run, buuuut... 2 choices, either try and run through the forest or come back and be killed by any soldier that sees them, even give a reward to the soldier that brings some item of theirs (they are in literally at 0 time left before annihilation, so i guess no one will say anything about that)... have them fight through the incredible pile of catastrophe that they nurtured, besides... they kind of need every able warrior they can gather
