I always have felt that the way the add the years isekaied is stupid, as if 3 years being a baby were the same as 3 years being in the 20s

Mentally, they are 16 (don't remember, but was around that) with 5 years if being abused so lower than 16

I'm trying really hard to enjoy this but the main characters just end up pissing me off. It looked promising at first, but I find that the more this manhua drags on, the twins seem to keep losing IQ points. They are supposed to be more mature and somehow a little more intelligent, given their actual age. However, they seem to have zero awareness for someone who's supposed to have a little more life experience. Also, is there any reason why they have memories of their previous lives or why they have previous lives in the first place? I think this could have worked better if they were just children from that world in the novel. A lot of things would have made more sense.

Ok i just binged this and i have some complaints

First off, jesus how uncomfortably this was written. The mcs are acting like kids yet they retort that they are 20+ years old. Pick your stats pls. And what the hell is with the acting clingy to the scarface guy so suddenly? I get that they are meant to empathize with each other but that relationship was soooo sudden. They barely talk prior to employing him?

I feel like this was written after the author read bunch of isekai reincarnate as prince/princess in royal family.

I get that the awkwardness i felt reading first interaction of the twins and royal family is because they dont know how to deal with kids. But its so weird. Only one that had decent progression in their character is the head maid ishina. Actually had a proper progression from despising the kids and their mom to learning that they aren't like their mom and they are somewhat special. Rest of relationships with characters are all over but i guess that is meant to be to make the atmosphere of what the hell is going on in the manga. I hope this 40+ chapter arc resolves the plotlines introduced.

Also can someone explain what the anti empire thing was? Whats their motive? Do they want republic or something? Why are they revolting? I feel like a lot of the threats in the story are thought of randomly.

But regardless of my complaints i kinda like it. As much as i feel this is really shoddy i do wanna know what happens next and the haphazard sense of tension created by the whole arc is making me wait for next one. What can i say i like isekai royal family stories. 6.5/10 but i will probably raise it to 7 if current arc is properly concluded and the next one makes some iota of sense

Short of a major tone shift in whatever arc comes after the current one (as of Dec. 17, 2020, when Ch. 44 was the latest one), this story is basically misery porn (figuratively speaking). Like, if you looked at the cover page for this manhwa, you'd be forgiven for thinking this is a feel-good, run-of-the-mill reincarnation isekai. But it's not. Thus far, it's 44 chapters of recriminations, catastrophically bad communication skills, ridiculous political intrigue, bizarre magic/fantasy settings, inconsistent characterisations, and truly brain-dead characters.

YMMV, and some may indeed like this story, but if you do choose to read it, please note that the happy atmosphere showcased in the cover above is not representative of the current tone of the story (and, as I mentioned earlier, we're already 44 chapters in).

The twins are dumb very dumb super dumb super duper dumb extremely dumb, in short they ARE DUMB! I question whether they still have their past life like the how the author have written the plot because, they are dumb! And yes I will say dumb over and over again because thats how the twins are. The fact that they say that they are not gonna trust someone easily again with the misunderstandings that is keep being created then boom, next chapter they trusted someone just because somebody said that he is the same situation as them. They didnt even question it nor did they have suspicions, that how dumb they are. The fact even that they are two people, we have a saying that two heads is better than one but this is not the case with the story.
