Nah, still doesn't ring any bells, but I do feel like I should know him.
Because "official" doesn't mean "quality", it means "localized".I'm quite flabbergasted at fan translators not using ready available material. There is an official translation of the novel, it's quite ahead of the manga. Why are we translating names by hand at this point? It's confusing, and it's honestly harder.
Not watched, but as LN reader can say. Manga follow main plot, but changed or added some minor details. While anime adaptations of any LN usually not changed anything, but can skip some details.I reread some of the earlier chapter, some scenario like when MC parting with the newbie adventurer and when he visited Lorraine atferward were quite different from the anime. Though it end same way its nuance quite dissimilar. So, which is more faithful to the source material?
Just chalk it up to magicAn isolated city shouldn't really thrive. What makes cities thrive is the opposite — good connections.
He looks like a darkish Robin.
Those back pockets look rather modern. Not my taste.
The perspective on the guild is just wrong. The pillars on the left don't match the people standing up, and the back of the bar just looks flat. Same on middle page 15.
More crucial than the previous backstory arc, at any rate.
Poor writer's excuse.Just chalk it up to magic
Ki isn't new, it's just that the power systems haven't been translated consistently. If you go by how the anime translates them, there's (1) mana, or magical power as with spells, (2) spirit, mostly translated as "vitality" in the manga to date, but now also "ki", which is the more martial artsy power, and (3) divinity, usually called spirit in the manga (that's not confusing...) which is the particularly uncommon healing and purification power he was granted at the shrine near his village before the start of the series.I finally catched up to after ~2 vol backlog and reread from beginning. Thing started feel progressing unnaturally for me when MC conveniently got free spirit lesson from gold rank elf adveturer otw to hometown. Followed by "ki" power system from hometown's captain, as if 3 main power system weren't alrdy enough.
Villager elders guised with ill-intention; at which happen between spirit root/blessing exposition made it feel inconsequential and distracting on my end. Village's secret curve ball is out of place while the vampire revealed noble felt slotted properly into the story but the way the plot moved on the last few chapter is convoluted.
I first read this on kissmanga early on its publication date, feel bad man the way it is written toward latest chapter. Still entertaining read though.
