Most people in their think tank viewed the casino as an important fund resource and while it could be risky, it would have too much backlash to simply close and there was concern on the prince's image if he should pass it off. As such, it would be normal for them to think the best option would be for the prince to try and run it. However, Aria with her knowledge of the future already knows the casino is a ticking time bomb so she's already approaching it from the mindset that it would be best to get rid of it. As such she was able to come up with a solution that simply never occurred to others. After all, how you approach something that could fail versus something you know for sure WILL fail is going to be different.
