In love Aria is slow, she never love or be loved in the first timeline so she confused because she don't understand herself but the feeling isn't so bad so she don't think to much about it and let it go. (If you are an observer, she do the same thing with Sarah)
Asher like her, since he meet Aria his situation change and he can now fight the aristocrat faction. He is confident in his feeling that why he act this way.

When she have the tea party, Isis thought that Mielle knows Oscar did not send her the couple brooch and did not love her, saying that Mielle have what it takes to be a noble: “please those who are superior, while control those who are inferior” or something along that line. Basically, she thought Mielle is actually scheming and smart (a large part due to the count giving all Credit of Aria’s Idea to Mielle). In actuality, Mielle was genuinely happy thinking that Oscar really do love her, I naïveté and dumbo. The scene was quite funny in my opinion, because it seem like one of those romance misunderstandings from manga, except this isn’t sweet.

@xellast Haha, I think you are mixing things up. Asher and Oscar are two different people. Oscar Frederick is from the Duke house, brother of Isis, who is in love with Aria but is forced into an engagement with Mielle. Asher is the crown prince in disguise, acting behind the shadow. In the original timeline, the Frederick house has a large influence, even above the royal family, hence why he was pressured into marrying Isis against his will. In this timeline, the aristocrat loses power due to all the pranks that Asher pulled, and some from Aria although she didn't know she did it, and the Frederick house is also in a predicament (if this goes on). However, since Isis is such a scheming spoilt brat, she still believes she has the power over Asher and that they will soon be engaged, so currently, they're not engaged yet, it's her delusion of power.
