Pretty funny how people are, for the most part, badmouthing the brother in this one while people keep defending the family of the MC in slow-life...
It's like abusive behaviour is acceptable when it is a female doing it while unacceptable when it is a male... strange how these things work.
Or would it be because here it is a female being "abused" while in slow-life it is a male?? Different reasons same results I guess.

@mahtan Different presentation. Isabella feels a bit more like a child than that MC. He always came off as an adult piloting a child's body to me. He also acts a lot less bothered by it than the people in the comments, where she's breaking out into tears at the thought of it.

I'm kinda overreacting on the betrayal part, and I fully realize it, yet it just can't help but make me wonder.
Like, okay, in this particular case his "betrayal" was harmless (even helpful, some might say), but it sets a precedent. It means that somewhere else in the future he can throw our MC under the bus "for her own good" again, and maybe this time it won't end with a slap on a wrist after all. The trust is actually gone now, too, because it might mean he will only side with her as long as it benefits him.
God I'm projecting way too much.

ahh.... though this chapter was pretty hilarious in some aspects, that brother is not funny at all. in fact, his behavior is pretty troubling. no wonder the original isabella became a villain, with a sh*tty brother like that...

side note, because it had been a while since i read the other chapters, i was confused as to why the knights were having such a hard time capturing isabella. but then i remembered her OP stats and lost it 🤣 thankfully our MC is very strong-willed and powerful, even going so far as to jump through a window to escape! she won't back down easily!
