I find it kind of funny that Mel's father, the asshat who instigated the whole storyline is the direct blood relative who is most willing to back Mel. In comparison to the step Mum and Sheria's blatant malice and lust to kill Mel, the father's simple blustering greed nearly seems decent. It doesn't redeem him at all because he only started taking an interest in Mel after she gained isekai reincarnation memories and was no longer a financial screw up. I just find it funny how things have played.

Nah she says the ending I'll always go her way. She definitely got absorbed into the book as well but instead of enjoying life she is trying to get her own harem while also getting rid of everyone she doesn't like in the book
