just an idea.. i think it would have been cooler if it were Lyudmila Pavlichenko and Nieves Fernandez were to fight. They both lived during the World War II and both notorious for killing hundreds of enemy soldiers.. i mean its better than just filling the tournament with mostly japanese, french and chinese representatives

All tournament manga are awful. This is just that other cringe one with gods but with women so its ryona.

Currently just finished reading the 6th fight with Marie Curie dying to Huang Yueying.
The fight itself wasn't either great or bad, it was fine, but the obvious elephant in the room is like how every single one of these 6 fights, besides the one with Jeanne d'Arc (ie: the protagonist), the asian witches always won.

It's kinda fucking gay how there's a bunch of copies of record of ragnarok around, and they all have this bias for asian characters against western ones, and even more than that, it makes the reader enage less and less in the fight because you already know what's gonna happen.

Might seem stupid but I think I'm gonna drop it for this thing exact reason.

I feel like the Record of Ragnarok format just doesn't work if you make the protagonist a fighter, Brunhild works because she takes the same role as the scientist demon whatsherface as the main commentator and explain-er of the fights which gives her an excuse to appear in almost every chapter, like a protagonist. While I'm interested in Jeanne she hasn't done much of anything since her fight other than introduce Mona Lisa and she's unlikely to do anything until we get through like 8 more fights
