What exactly has Azusa actually done yet, though? She spends the night with someone she's seen on and off, and all of a sudden, this crazy bitch just pops up telling her to stay away? Like, what?
As I understand it they open outwards because that leaves space in the entryway where you take off your shoes before stepping up onto the interior floor.I mean if he lives in one of those block of flats or whatever its called, that anime/manga often portray - doors opening outwards is normal - heck they even often have the self-closing stuff on them, which in my country is basically used only on main doors to the whole block or companies entrances and not individual flats/stand alone houses.
Now why manga/anime show them doors opening outwards, or why Japanese (or Asian countries in general) make the main flat doors open like that is something I don't know. Probably a mater of limited space inside, and enough space on the outside, but that makes breaking in easier/protecting from such harder.
Trying to juggle two girls usually doesn't work out very well. Not changing the fact that he's a coward, alone the fact he kept lying about the other girl having been there at all and such, already shows he himself has a guilty conscience, yeah she is sketchy, but she hasn't done anything yet, yet Amatella just straight up tells her to stay away like some possessive girlfriend 😐
Honestly MC isn't all that likeable, with him chronically lying
If you want to be charitable Azusa is forcing Amatella to move, either toward Yuta or away from him. That's actually good for Yuta because having an obsessed possessive stalker fan is rarely a good thing. You just need to look at idols to see the same thing with genders reversed....
You can see her put the pieces together in this chapter. That Ametella is real, and what Yuuta said wasn't a lie. She even notices that Ametella's super into him, so he wasn't actually lying about that when Yuuta brought it up to make her jealous. She takes it all in stride. She even just eats the accusation that she doesn't actually love him by saying that she didn't realize she came across as such a bad person. Saying that she didn't know Yuuta had such a cute girlfriend. Because, well, she knows he doesn't. This is a setup to make Ametella admit that she's not his girlfriend, and she uses that to deliver the line that you shouldn't try to tie up someone you care about. Something she knows applies just as much to herself.
...
If I'm right about what Azusa intended to convey, it's notable in that it's not actually telling her to back off or saying anything at all about what Azusa's intentions or thoughts are about the whole thing. Instead, it's almost like she's guiding Amatella towards properly considering her own feelings about Yuuta - if she cares about him, she should back off and let him live his life, if she has romantic feelings for him she should consider how she wants to act on them. I can't help seeing that as a kind of careful parental-style guidance of a child's thoughts down a path that will (hopefully) help them grow as a person - which is definitely something Amatella could use some help with . . .

This chapter made me nearly die of cringe. Fun chapter, would recommend.
lol even living on ur own would make one “well off” compared to some ppl but I guess she is delusional/idol worship but isn’t he just like some one who tweets about books he likes rather than like being a mangaka?/writer?His "wealth and fame"? Girl what are you talking about?
For some reason it’d feel “safer” to me if it opened outward, hitting her aside feels like it’d be easier if someone with a knife/burglar was out and you opened the door and they were able to get in or so but I’m just paranoid lolAs I understand it they open outwards because that leaves space in the entryway where you take off your shoes before stepping up onto the interior floor.
In addition to what is below, I think that doors open inward in the US because of the storm door (screen door) that houses often have.
From Japanese traditional door "Fusuma" and "Shoji"
In western countries, the doors open inwardly. On the contrary, they open outwardly in Japan.
The reason could be that since Japanese has a custom of taking the shoes off when stepped inside the entrance door, a certain space to take off the shoes and keep them must be secured there. Besides, the movement of the door should not swipe them.
Such opening is reasonable in dealing with rainy or stormy weather as well.
When the door opens outwardly it’s less likely to invite dust and rain inside the house.
