Just to be clear, there is only 1 serialization and it is this manga. The original is the author's own web comic that isn't serialized by any publisher, and the second manga is just a 6 part pilot released by Kadokawa (publisher) to test the waters before they serialize the story (which became this).

This has never actually been axed before. The original web comic only stopped because the author is either busy with other work, lost interest in continuing or decided on their own to stop.
