If you look closely at the top of page 3, you can a little bit of a red car, a bumper, and one tire, barreling down on the chick that is in the middle of the road. Then croc dove and shoved the chick out of the way, onto the sidewalk, but wasn't able to avoid the car like he did the truck from day 3 (which is unfortunate, since if it was reversed, then he would have been isekai'd by the truck, but now he is just gone). The bird then sees the message from Mouse, proving it was indeed the MC that died.
