A nice series of stories with attractive art and interesting author's notes.... a solid 8 in rating. The Magical Girl and the Fourth Heroine were the most memorable. Dead You was alright, but somewhat forgettable. The NEET one made me feel sad. This last one was.... fine, but didn't leave an impact.
I can't help but be impressed that "I can't relate to happy couples so I'll invent a scenario where nobody could be happy and dress it up as a love story" actually panned out as a good idea.
This was a good anthology; a sideways look at self-imposed misery, without being too maudlin, that has a strange go at acceptance as a resolution. Original stuff, I'd say.
Perhaps one day, Koshimizu will see Miyamura's genuine love for her, and return it. She'll see that loving a girl she doesn't truly know is not the way to go.
I'm sure it'll happen soon, because Miyamura's love for her is really pure.
