Chapter 45 was a bit confusing imo.. not that it's bad, I just noticed that abrupt feeling in the structure itself. Maybe Naekawa Sai tries to put some deeper idea and emphasises on that this way? When I read chapter after chapter before, I didn't pay attention to major differences between characters but now I see how little Hinako reacts to anything. Everyone is lively and seems like they are used to it, including Miko, so they are always this cheerful to power up Hinako. Since Hinako has depression her thinking is really slow and unmotivated usually. Now Hinako is like shaken by something. She is still as abrupt as ever but now her feelings moved somewhere. But because she is still not as responsive as Shiori, Miko or others, i had that initial impression that something lacked there and was disappointed. And thats why i wondered whether the author wanted that on purpose. Perhaps she did... It would have been hard to track Hinako's changes if Sai concentrated on the whole story but the MC's worrirs after the hook up in chapter 44. Seems like Sai is going consequential rather than just logical through the story

All of us know that there is only 1 possible ending for this story to unfold
Nah bro we know nothing because the interesting part about fictional stories is that they exist thanks to unexpected plot twists. It would be boring if you were able to predict anything, or even state that there is only 1 ending, when we are only half-wy through the lore lol TwT
