Wild how we aren't gonna spend a couple chapters or so on her "betrayal" since it got sorted out within minutes but cool yay

Honestly, this story beat felt rushed to get it over with as quickly as possible. A little jarring, but I won't complain.

I'm glad we're not going to get an entire arc of angst. I'm glad her leaving without a word was unsuccessful (unlike Ibelina)

That was very sweet and tender at the end, but I'm worried they just raised a flag.
You know, late night confession, the day before he leaves to war. Feels like something ad is gonna happen.

For this arc, I really hope either these situations will play out:

1) Cesar brings Canaria along and they win the war together. She’ll help with tactics etc and both return with impeccable reputation supported by the people in order to overthrow the Empress/Parlams

2) While Cesar is at war, Canaria becomes a villainess and rises in the political/high society circle through scheming to stop the Empress/Parlams and secure loyal vassals who will help secure Cesar’s position as Crown Prince
