@TheGodEmperor the kept our ML as Caesar, but changed Canaria to Carnelia (which is close). I mean it could be worse, they could have done what "Why Are You Doing This, Duke?" did and named her Antoinette Blanchett or something equally as off 😂.

@homeworkChan Excuse me, but if canaria is dense in love, then Cesar is just clueless. He did not shower her with love. Yes, he is aware that he loves her, but when they were younger he never ever did anything romantic towards her. xD They had their little moment before his departure on the terrace, but that's it. Then he went to war and was gone for years. She did NOT know at the time that he did everything to come back as quickly as possible because she tought of her every day. It does get better since he confessed but still, he's not courting her since she told him to wait for her answer. The main reason why he confessed was because she eagerly wanted a divorce and he just had enough of that talk (I know he probably wanted to confess for a long time, but that was a big catalyst for him doing it at that time). They do have their little cute moments, but it is not really SHOWERING her with attention and love.
Tbh, I read comments that Cesar was so dense in the novel, I cringed.

The manga took a better turn and they are far ahead in romantic way (if you read future chapters then you know xd). In novel, some time after they kissed, Cesar thought he got Canaria pregnant.... I mean, she quicly told him off, so it was not a big misunderstanding but still I was so surprised. People say manga is slightly better because they do not make Cesar a mentally 13year old boy when it comes to romantic moments.

73 chapters and counting... the art is nice to look at I guess though I could say the prince Became a walking doll mostly; no character development and personality with almost 0 opinions and feelings except being super duper dense and boringly-unromantically Cut dry. Resulting in me dropping this series. sorryyy but reading “Beware of the Villian!” Has way more development for only 40 chapters than this tower of a turd of chapters, Not sorry. I’ll give this a 7 or 6.5 at most. A good stinky turd but not long enough to hold structure after a good flush. 💩

Cliche upon cliche... Cliches all the way down. Lazily covered up by semblance of plot. Really dumb protagonists, unless the plot requires them to be otherwise.

The art is nice. When lazy 3d is not too apparent, at least.

I loooovee this! There are a few chapters where it makes you feel like it may go down hill but do not. give. up. I am so in love with this manwa. Its a light read but the plot gets good. I like the art. The personalities are not strong, but they are still consistent which is a plus.
