Meh, this one. It sets up a theoretical romance between two people who proceed to not talk to each other for years, has the female lead decide that a faked suicide would be the right way to break up (despite never even trying the normal way), and has an over-the-top reaction afterward. None of that really sings of a 'good' romance to me, when one person doesn't pay attention and the other falls in the love with the idea of someone, rather than actually seeing if they match.
This is bad to me - not as offensively bad as the first, but it doesn't do either 'classic trope' or 'exploration of the genre' well, so there's just nothing there to enjoy.
