Thanks for the translation. The story itself crams essentially three independent antagonists, meaning none get much room for development. It's also strange that people so close to him don't understand how determined Claus was to marry Maria. The tutor's daughter can be understood as a spoiled childhood friend who was smitten.
The maid's motivation seemed the most insane to me, though. I mean, she harps on and on about bloodlines, but Maria outranks her, so why isn't she sucking up to her? She would normally think she's her future boss, and shouldn't care about a high noble being "villanous". And even if the duchess showed her some kindness, that shouldn't mean she would think she has a shot at Claus. Plus, living in the house, she should know how head over heels Claus is for Maria, so again no reason to antagonize her. Completely delusional.
And then the "reincarnator". It's funny in this sense because she was already being favored by the prince, whose engagement to the villainess had already been nullified by Claus. Being a commoner, she was perhaps the least aware of the situation though, so she was going exclusively by her past-life knowledge?
