Thanks for the translation. The story itself crams essentially three independent antagonists, meaning none get much room for development. It's also strange that people so close to him don't understand how determined Claus was to marry Maria. The tutor's daughter can be understood as a spoiled childhood friend who was smitten.

The maid's motivation seemed the most insane to me, though. I mean, she harps on and on about bloodlines, but Maria outranks her, so why isn't she sucking up to her? She would normally think she's her future boss, and shouldn't care about a high noble being "villanous". And even if the duchess showed her some kindness, that shouldn't mean she would think she has a shot at Claus. Plus, living in the house, she should know how head over heels Claus is for Maria, so again no reason to antagonize her. Completely delusional.

And then the "reincarnator". It's funny in this sense because she was already being favored by the prince, whose engagement to the villainess had already been nullified by Claus. Being a commoner, she was perhaps the least aware of the situation though, so she was going exclusively by her past-life knowledge?

Shouldn't Page 6 second-last speech bubble be "I invited her because you said that you wanted to see my fiancee, but..."

I had a good time with this one! It was nice to see a ML (mostly) aware of the issues from the start and dealing with them as soon as they come up! I also love their meet cute, that was adorable!

Thank you so much for the uploading, I’m so happy the series is continuing!

Proofreaders cost money - unless you're offering to do it pro-bono yourself?
He ain't doing it pro bono so why would I?

I know it's ridiculously common now to beg for money in some form, but there did used to be a, very long, period where the majority of scanlations were being done for free as a labor of love. It doesn't hurt to post in the various recruitment forums you can find around the Internet. Used to be you find a couple people with a similar passion for a work and go from there. Now you get one guy with dubious quality standards that makes no effort on improvement.

Regardless, I don't think the "TL" is actually looking to improve the quality of his work.

Then be quiet - because you aren't doing anything other than reading pirated manga someone else went through the trouble of trying to translate and deliver for you at no cost to yourself - so get off your high horse.

Like - it looks like you just made up a group which hasn't uploaded a god damn thing and whose only member is you to get the nice blue button and that's it

I don't think I'm on any sort of high horse. I'm just pointing out my issues with the releases and how to address them. I would say I've been more than fair. loliconn can address my critique, or not, if he feels the need to.

I did have uploads here but I nuked them all. I'm honestly surprised I still have the badge.

perhaps the author had an idea for this story but couldn't get anyone willing to give them space to showcase it. Then they got a slot in this anthology and decided, "I might as well get it out of my system. Flush it all out."

Oh man, this is one of the ones I would like to get it's own series! I love this type of couple dynamic and there's never enough puppy/golden retriever ml's in the villainess genre lol
