I'm betting MTL at least. Confusion over (implied) pronouns and subjects is generally a clear sign, especially when it's obvious in context.

if anyone is confused by the maid, most of the time in these kind of stories, maids and butlers are usually ones from a lower noble house, that is why she said she have "noble" blood and was all "commoner" this and that.

That is also meant that some maids are hoping to snag someone from a higher house that they work in, either as wife (doubtful) or concubine. So its not a random common maid from off the street.

Claus is indeed a lovable puppy. Considering that the "heroine" seems to be a reincarnator, I guess that means Maria and the prince were originally going to be engaged. Which makes me think...Claus is also a reincarnator who's just sorta vibing and disrupted the plot by falling in love with her at first sight?

The one who spread the rumors was a commoner the prince favored, who claims she will get bullied once the villainess became the prince fiancee and say some incoherent things (text partially covered and reason prevented by puppy lover cutting in and screaming).

Prince also said everyone knows how much the puppy loves her and they're together. Somehow except for that commoner who insist to spread rumors because she thinks MC will get together with prince.

It's obvious it's the typical nasty b reincarnation into heroine.

Honestly I'm quite happy that someone is bothering to pick up this fantastic anthology and, you know. Proofreaders cost money - unless you're offering to do it pro-bono yourself?

I like the vibe of the anthology in general and I suppose there's only so much room each individual writer can get so they pick a trope they like - I think well more than three fourths of these are "After the Condemnation" last I checked.

I still like our dense best girl who wants to race to the top pointy part of the school - that's a completely new one

It is a rather basic plot, though I enjoyed the LI being so pure and supportive. The villainess didn't really do anything though. It was a fresh air to see that the prince didn't fall for the heroine's schemes. The young girl at the start didn't really apport much to the plot, though her faces were interesting. I think they should have focused the plot an characters a little more, maybe make the LI's maid the only foil of the villainess, acting proper when she is with him but trying to push the villainess to attack her or something by insulting her when they are alone, so that the LI breaks her engagement with her, but the maid messes up and her actions are revealed.

This was a cute one. Puppy and Strong villainess is a strong pairing.
