I definitely agree with you, that it cuts off too soon.
I also get what you are saying about the treaties , but it seems a stretch. Diplomats are replaced all the time but the treaties remain. Even more of a stretch than having a teenager negotiate matters of state in the first place. (Of course if you are the coke head son of a VP that's another matter)

Well game correction can certainly explain those, but if you allow for that, there's really no reason to be mad or take vengeance. Nobody there has free will and it seems really petty to blame people that are being compelled.
It also raises the question just what was the end text of the game ? Is that going to be in force and make everything moot ? Was that whole country just a nation of NPC zombies ? With the possible exceptions of her and possibly her butler ? (we know she didn't do much to derail the story, and the butler actually kept it on track)
I still say there just wasn't enough setup and conclusion for this story. Everything was glossed over. What was the taxation and why should it fall apart ? Does the monster kingdom want to invade ? Is her nation and the other one like Colorado and California fighting over water rights to the Colorado river ?
