oh this one was 100% spicy and i like it
i for one didn't think it was undoing the previous installment, where it paired a beautiful woman with a conventionally ugly man and the villainess finding genuine happiness in her "unfavorable" marriage. i see it more of like showing how "villainy" runs in the family (as the title suggests). though admittedly, this one is less about the villainess than the villain (the stepson, in this case) but i think it's pretty in line with the series. i also didn't get the hint or feeling of pairing the stepson with the stepmother, it was just the stepson expressing his twisted desire for her and giving the rumors some sort of basis. though no one knows this since the stepson only expressed this in his thoughts.
i mean, they're ""villains"". moral ambiguity comes with the territory
