The stoic female lead, her amiable fiancé, and the fiancé's blunt best friend are good characters and much of the story is fun. But the sister?—*shudder* Why the Hell are people applauding her or finding her cute, sweet, or anything the slightest bit complimentary? People should be reacting to her outbursts and delusions the way the female lead, the male lead, and his best friend do — with disgust and horror.

Isn't anyone else completely disgusted and horrified by that selfish little chit?!

Seriously. It's one thing to ship characters or strangers, it's completely another to ship people you know well, and quite another again to actively interfere with other people's relationships on the basis of "shipping." Especially when that shipping is completely unconfirmed or outright contrafactual and the shipper mostly thinks that guy-on-guy or girl-on-girl is hot. That's the brat's initial motives: she just loves homoeroticism, the feelings of the "couple" be damned.

And trying to nab someone who is in a happy, healthy relationship? Horrible. Worse, this is her elder brother's fiancée, solely because she now wants the fiancée for her self. The feelings of her brother and his fiancée are irrelevant; the little sister is basically saying "give me your bride" the way you might ask for a pencil. And the reason for that possessiveness is at most a mere crush, and far more likely either infatuation or admiration. That's not the kind of feeling that lasts usually, especially at that age. Especially in someone who's basically in love with love.

If she were just a bit older or if she were unrelated to the male lead, people would be cursing her out. But it's somehow acceptable in a preteen sibling? Or because she's apparently not straight?

I'm not sure if the brat's lack of malice can be considered a good thing considering her complete indifference toward other people's feelings. She's completely unhinged, and no one in the story is even taking any precautions to at least have good damage control, let alone correct her appalling behaviour.

The more I think about it, the worse the little sister appears, and the more the story strikes me as belonging to horror thanks to her. I doubt that was the author's intent, but there you go.

The sister isn't a GL element, she's pure
nightmare fuel, okay?

Ah, nice to have something good after the awkwardness of 3-5. I quite enjoy this one, both focused on showing the earlier parts of an arranged relationship and how it develops, and also giving the female lead some genuine agency. It also does a good job of teasing the other relationships through the viewpoint of someone who's young and innocent, which lets both the initial misunderstanding and the conclusion feel right. It also doesn't 'force' any of the relationships - everything occurs through appropriate discussion of, "This is what I think. Does that sound right?", and allowing everyone involved to come to their own conclusions. I'd say the most notable downside is that this really isn't a 'villainess' story - it's adjacent, but not quite there. It still does a good enough job to be high in my ratings.

My ratings on the series, from best to worst:
1-2, 2-3, 2-4, 2-2, 4-1, 2-1, 1-4, 3-2, 3-1, 2-6, 1-5, 3-3, 3-4, 1-3, 2-5, 3-5, 1-1

Umexpected good action. I read twice but I still don't get what 2 guys and the girl say.
I kinda get the general meaning, but the details are so vague.
Like, when she says "what sir Orwel said is only 1 facet of the truth"
What does that mean?
