I'd say what bugs me the most about the ending is the contradiction to the moral of the story, which shows that villainess falling in love with her fiancé just because someone pushed him onto her is a bad thing, but then in the ending the heroine does the same thing to her but with her brother 🤨 But in the end I liked the story nonetheless
It was more like an introduction though. If she said no at any point they'd let her call it off.

I agree with everyone here, this was such a great set up for yuri just for that last minute introduction to happen. Goddammit, can't believe this was yuribait. Still good, but I can't believe you've done this.

It would be nice if the brother appears a bit earlier.

Is this yuri-bait? But tbh I'm tired with BL/GL bait. Reading a friendship route one a while is nice.

Is that a typo on page 31? It says that her family has "more influence than the replaceable  DUKE" but the line seems to be directed at the Wussy Beansprout Bastard since he's a Marquis.

Way too many people here have clearly been infected with non-familial-close-relationships-can-only-ever-be romantic-itis.

Eh I think it was Yuri-bait or at least yuri-bait adjacent. If you make the emotionless girl all of a sudden light up like a christmas tree towards another person that tends to be more "romantic" inclined than just friends. And to the people acting like "oh finally a non-yuri ending" .... could you please point me to all of the stories that develop that way that you've read? Since 95% of the time it's a yuri-bait ending.

I Believe its the phenomenom where people percieve under-represented groups as taking up much more space than they actually do?

Because theres absolutely no reason for people to think we have "enough yuri" when yuri is as rare as a coin landing on its edge rather than heads or tails.

Yup that sounds about right. I mean I literally have to scour the net for Yuri manga/ light novels that seem interesting but I can easily throw a rock blindfolded and hit at least 5 different shounen harem light novels and even clip a couple hetero romance novels before the rock loses momentum.

I've gotta quote the first post on this:
Don't tease me with a good time then introduce a random brother at the end of it.
That covers a lot. I don't go out of my way to look for yuri, and even I got yuri vibes from this. Even if they went for the 'very good friends' vibe, I feel like that would've been more appropriate than the random brother out of nowhere.

That being said, even with that randomness, I still quite enjoyed the overall story. It includes a clear but awkward villainess, a cute lead, and a 'prince' that's appropriately scoffed at. A different ending would've pulled this up another level, but it's still a comedic and satisfying story in its own way.

My ratings on the series, from best to worst:
1-2, 2-3, 2-4, 4-5, 5-2, 2-2, 4-1, 2-1, 1-4, 3-2, 4-4, 4-3, 4-2, 3-1, 5-1, 4-6, 2-6, 1-5, 3-3, 3-4, 1-3, 2-5, 3-5, 1-1

Yuri baited?
She only views her as friend.
I read a few yuri baited before, this contact is so mild, I wouldn't even suggest it.
