[Title Edit] I can't seem to edit a title [Not a bug]

I am trying to edit Arpeggio of Blue Steel because one of the english title is actually a japanese romanized one.

I have this message:


Not my first time having this kind of error, because it can mean:

• Someone else is editing the title, I waited for more than 15 minutes before trying again
• The version that I see when I start editing is an old one, I waited for more than 15 minutes before trying again and pressed f5
• Maybe someone is uploading a chapter? But it seems really long...
• Maybe someone didn't save their edit, so I can't start a new one

Not a bug and unrelated but I edited a lot of titles so I got this message:


If I need to wait for a cooldown, it's kinda boring to wait, if I am tag as such until a mod check what I did, I am kinda sad, it just stopped me in my streak.

Well I think the rate limit is too low. I didn't use a bot or anything...

Nevermind, I can edit again.

I still have this error, and I found another title with the same issue:

Same error for me, I've tried changing other things and still returns the same message.

It needed a reindex (if you're on the Discord server, there's a thread under the contributors channel to trigger a reindex for entries).

smh, not accepting the privileges it gives you by becoming one of the elite contributors (aka. the "Knights of Dex"), which gives you the ability to annoy the staff without consequences*

If this knight thing can be made in MD it would be much easier. I don't like to have discord on my device.

The API documentation lists 10 edits/h as the minimum title edit ratelimit. That being said, I just checked my response headers and it says the limit is 60. Not sure if/what role out of PU/Contrib/Contrib affects that though, or if the docs are simply outdated. If you want to know yours, just check the X-Ratelimit-Limit response header in the devtools the next time you edit a title, although it'll probably just be the same for both of us...
