Still curious about which Southern European country she is supposed to be based on. None of the IRL southern countries have Platinum mines, they are mostly in the Nordics and Poland. I guess she could be Turkish since they have quite a lot of other kinds of mines and it would explain why her country wasn't really mentioned as part of the Catholic Church.

It's so sad to see Kiyoshi and Mikoto's friendship like this Like if I'm being honest, I think her and Mikoto's friendship is one of the best if not for Mikoto because they feel like the most equal and amicable. It especially helps that they were the same grade. And you know, Mikoto deserves these types of friends since majority of her friends either look up to her, is her rival and has some animosity towards her, or.. Touma. And I kind of hate the author for robbing her of an actual legitimate and healthy friendship? Because it doesn't seem like he wants to develop a genuine relationship between her and Shokuhou because of a love rivalry.. Gosh damn this is why I hate harems.

Likely in the Balkans. Greece and Kosovo have historic precious metal mines.

Would also fit with it being small, but the biggest issue with that is I assume that the eastern European empire that Sha is from is around there also lol.
