finally, the 'secret' is out! honestly, it's been so long that i honestly forgot he's not supposed to know...

my tl thoughts for this chapter - name introductions are a pain! i spent way too long on the 'the xin that lets your heart rest easy!' line.

shen xin's name is 沈心, where 心 means 'heart.' but here, she's making a pun on how her name sounds like 省心 sheng xin, which literally translates to 'save heart' and means 'no need to worry.'

this isn't the only name pun we've seen from shen xin. quite a few chapters ago, we got a glimpse at her wechat id - 夜空中最靓的心 'the prettiest xin in the night sky.' this once again relies on homophones - both 亮星 'bright star' and 靓心 'pretty heart' are pronounced *liang xin(g)*.

thankfully, that's our last name introduction for a long while. if you found this interesting, i also wrote a really long note on xiao he's name in the comments on ch33. c:
