Man, I had this feeling that they may be related somehow. Him appearing quite frequent in the last few chapters, same hair, yada yada. But shit, didnt really expect it to be true. Im feeling he also never listened to his daughter as he's been seen to never listen to MC. No wonder she didnt want to go out back then. MC goes to school her father coaches.

I have a hunch that hatsushiro had been missing for more longer than we think. Given that there has never been shown a news of recent missing hi school girl. And the coach being always very cheerful since the first time he was introduced in the manga. He mightve been just being stoic or something, but he looked way too cheerful to me for someone who recently had his daughter missing. This doesn't explain her bruises tho. Those bruises might have been old or idk. My guess is she had been running from home to that prestiges school not in a "formal" way, given what Otani has found. Or, her father forced her to do that.

i wonder if its one of those things where he had really high expectations on her and put a ton of pressure that she couldnt handle? since the author has gone out of their way to show how persistent he is and how he wont take no for an answer about the baseball club thing...
