I've been targeted by this scam a couple of times now.

Honestly, I like mucking with them.

Nah, talked with the bank and they can't refund me. :( I can try asking the merchant from whom I bought the stuff, but I doubt they'll let it go.
If you tell the bank you'll send them over to media for investigation they'll SUDDENLY come over for settlement..

Common banker CD strategy is to insult the customer saying it's their fault while knowing and tracking your every move like a stalker and a peep.

I also noticed defrauding is RAMPANT in digital money. I also lost some amount and for some reason the customer service said I bought expensive makeup. WtF.

The customer service suddenly dropped the call and recant her statement. The banks & Telecomms are not beating the money laundering or money plunder in the digital money making.

I'm so happy i was not given a credit card by my parents, and even fed with wrong scary stories of CC. It made me actually read up on them and find a cause to use them. That said i will never understand how most countries not implement bank otp against online card transactions? Banks in my country keep international transactions disabled at default because of no OTP bs and card cloning at global stage. I enable it for like 2mins right before checkout and then disable it back when I'm done.

Best way to not fall for majority of scams is to recognise the "urgency" psychology. Scammers don't want to give you time to think, they want targets to act impulsively and fuck up. This what a lot of phising mails do, this is also what bank "relationship" aka sales managers do to make you sign up for shit investments
