rip kourpse i mean kou
first off, how dare you forget mitsuba's name. second of all, yes, but also mitsuba is still in the red house cuz he didn't get exorcised like kou, sooo..... yeah. rip gay peopleWAIT A MIN
THIS MEAN KOU DIED WITH HIS FRIEND?!? (yeah i forgot his name)
Amane working on the clock is the biggest mystery outside the happenings of this particular arc so far. Why did he do it? He must have messed with time while being alive, because Spider Sensei said the original future had Amane living to become a teacher (like right now). Time is ultimately at the center of this story, and I bet we're getting answers. I really think this is going to be the penultimate arc. All the other mysteries have been dealt with. Once the clock keeper yorishiro is gone. All that will be left is Tsukasa and Sakura.Yknow the plot about Amane trying to fix the school clock while Tsukasa watches, and later down the line for unknown reason, Amane killed Tsukasa and himself and become supernatural?
Maybe that have relation to how the red house isn't as vicious in the main timeline. Maybe Amane doing things is what makes the thing in the red house unable to go outside
Judging by anime and manga, there are so many serial killers in Japan, especially among teachers and celebrities, that Russia in the 90s or the USA in the second half of the 20th century look like paradise.TEACHER AMANE IS A SERIAL KILLER DAMN IT
Nene being a dolt throughout really is a weakness of the writer. It's like they don't know how to write someone who's optimistic, even bubbly without making them really dumb. Even worse because she's not only the female lead and the main character, but really the only consistent female character. My heart!!! 😭💔
I did think it was suspicious that Kou was back to normal when he was caught by Amane the chapter before, but I was too caught up in the excitement of it all to think too much about it.
Im so sad for Kou and his family!
This should have been the best timeline for all of them!! Teru probably saw his little brothers dead body down there.💔
I wish i had nothing to complain about, but it always irked me how much of a damsel in distress Nene is. Always a little naïve, or needing someone else to explain things to her. I love her character, I do, but girls always get this treatment in manga! I wish the boys wouldn’t hog all the moments to act cool or smart.
No, it was explicitly meant to rectify the issue with Tsukasa and whatever came of him. Akane was left behind to put things back in case matters became worse even in general, such as students dying. That was a literal example Akane gave several chapters ago. There are more victims than ever so this is definitely not acceptable by Kako's standards.Just two additions based on the comments I've read:
Amane is not a serial killer (at least from my understanding). He's just a puppet of the thing haunting the red house.
Was this timeline supposed to be a happy one? As far as I remember, the clock keepers only intended to "fix" the situation with increasing supernatural activity at school. While we've barely been at this timeline's school I think (checking older chaps) in chapter 115 Nene didn't find any supernaturals there.
Thinking about it now though, I wonder if Nene's lifespan in this world is longer. If so, the clock keepers might be in cahoots with Hanako, although I don't expect the author to pull the same story twice so that's probably a no...
Ah yep, you're right (ch. 111 for anyone wanting to jog their memory like me).No, it was explicitly meant to rectify the issue with Tsukasa and whatever came of him. There are more victims than ever so this is definitely not acceptable by Kako's standards.
The author intended this from the very beginning, so it’s happy (c)What kind of "happiness" is this mannnnnnn
In before we discovered the main timeline is actually a messed up timeline by Amane, and the timeline we are now the right timeline after the clockeeper fix the anomaly.Amane working on the clock is the biggest mystery outside the happenings of this particular arc so far. Why did he do it? He must have messed with time while being alive, because Spider Sensei said the original future had Amane living to become a teacher (like right now). Yknow that makes me think, maybe Mitsuba isn't trapped/get exorcised first since Kou said he'll join him after getting exorcised.Kou really said "I have to go now. I can't just leave him on his own, can I?" and it's making me want to commit chapter 48
Why is he so happy to die together with Mitsuba? T-T Kou honey, please, you're breaking my heart
Edit: Also the way you can see Teru collapsing at the well! He's standing first, then kneeling, and at the last panel, he's holding himself up with only one arm. Love to see this level of detail, but poor Teru, this is every big sibling's worst nightmare. I'm sure it's no question now that they're going back to the old world now.
