Having to have a teacher recommend someone for the student council kind of goes against the point of having a student council in the first place.

Alya wanting revenge. Though it's not good to be too emotional in a debate. Just a little.

Good question to ask. Though probably back it up with a reason why she's asking.
Yeah, it's like arguing that corporate should be the one to decide who is the head of the workers' union.

I mean; I know rom-coms are nothing more than romantic fantasies which have only a tangential relation with reality.

But a russian, trying to engage in a debate using actual facts and reasonable arguments instead of simply spewing random bullshit about how the other side is a serial murderer.

That truly strains credibility.

I'm so bored of this now. I might as well go see how Rental Girlfriend is going, there's probably more progress there

The "student council election arc" is becoming the "fighting tournament arc" of modern romcoms.

Just wait til the Cultural Festival arc. Unrelated to the debate here and we're suuuper far off from that arc to begin with, but still.
That's an even bigger ride.
2 of these arcs are basically just "hm we need to highlight kuze more so let's just throw in some delinquents and assholes, yeah that should work", like they feel so unnecessary
