Does this have a LN? Waiting between chapters is killing my interest.

Oh, the plot thickens. That guy is probably the grandfather of the MC who knows Russian or something like that. Either that or time travel antics.
I don't think it's something like that. I think it was a figurative scene where Alya is still a kid (as in, she has a heart of kid who was so busy building walls around her that she didn't get the chance to grow much as a person.) and that umbrella is supposed to "Warmth of others" which she threw away as they are nothing but nuisance and distraction for her and then Masachika (our MC) picks it up for her (you obviously know what I am going to say.)

I'm loving this manga but they gotta stop trying to make MC into an average nobody. Dude can do literally anything and has connections out the ass.
He doesn't want to consistently be the center of attention. He'd rather other people do well.

Can this pls be the last flashback chapter?
And I'm really surprised this got an adaptation. Hopefully in the anime this flashback is gonna be no longer than a single episode.

Will be quite a while before it's ever explained/expressed but
MC doesn't want to be anybody. As revealed a bit in this chapter, he's more than happy helping from the background

on a serious not, r there nice open hs dances irl? or in japan?
the ones ive been to r just ppl squeezed into each other trying to find space on the dance floor
even during slowdance numbers (altho i will admit it does get a little less shove-y, but still little space)
even the outdoor ones were like dat
