If one bulb breaks, do you have to change them all? I only change the one that's broken, which almost never happens with LED bulbs. The most I do is remove the bulbs in use and clean them. I also clean the bulbs about three times a year.

....this gets just even harder to believe that he's been living here for well over a year now and has not once had to change a light bulb there.
Is that strange? I changed my LED bulbs more than two years ago. The only thing I do is clean them. The difference between before and after cleaning is noticeable. When it was incandescent bulbs, 2 or 3 times a year. Of course, I didn't go straight from incandescent to LED, between the two technologies there was fluorescent, and the bulbs were also durable.

Classic "dead until fed" pose.

Teenager moments.

I've changed two lights since I moved to this apartment. That was like ten years ago, and it was a fluorescent light for the bathroom mirror, and an incandescent light for the desk light. I have a mix of various kinds of lights.

My own interpretation is that since they were replacing the main dining room light, they were taking the opportunity of replacing any other bulbs that were out at the same time.

I've actually had to re-think my initial assessment that it was Sugawa-kun speaking that line, and I think it was actually meant for Tokimori-san. In which case its and entirely new unknown for how long its actually been.
