Only way I see romance happening in this is after 30-50 more chapters and 2 misunderstanding love triangles where she says at least once “what’s this feeling?” Or “why does my chest feel tight” he gets ready to move out. Then she starts wanting him back and it ends with him saying “I want to live with you again! But this time as a couple!” Then manga ends with hand holding, no kiss and no segs.

Its a Japanese language thing that kinda got lost in translation. What she said could've been interpreted as her asking him to the bath together. The more correct interpretation is what it was translated into, which is just her asking him if he wants to go first.

Both things are said the same way
