I haven't read the raws or anything but I can already tell how this whole thing is gonna end. It'll turn out that they were basically just talking about Asuna or something like that.

That being said, I really don't understand why they just don't admit it? People can see it and being friends isn't some big deal yk. I also predict Asuna won't be stoked to find out that Misono basically outted her without her knowledge

actual drama -> actual communication and progress -> not even one chapter and new drama that makes zero sense after the 3 chapters right before

call me crazy but I think this counts as dogshit writing. inb4 this little bit of nothing is dragged on so much that Misono and Kyoko end up in a negative light somehow. This type of writing is character ruining. This ain't it.

Don't worry, the Japanese comments aren't any happier about how much they've been bickering. Bickering isn't even a good word because Misono has been pretty chill while Asuna has been constantly anxious. Maybe it's just me but I don't blame Misono for almost any of this stuff, though some of the Japanese fans feel differently.

truly the legend of assuming too much when she was just told probably not even a chapter or two ago to not make assumptions. She needs to just be grabbed by the shoulders and yelled at saying "Stop thinking too hard about things they're almost always not as crazy as you're thinking them as!"

This was easily one of my favorite yuri until the confession. And it still had good content after they got together. But geez...the author has been leaning way too hard into Asuna's anxiety and making it too melodramatic.
I'm not enjoying these recent chapters nearly as much as the earlier ones, but I have faith that things will eventually get back on track

Everyone complaining about her anxiety really doesn't understand the first thing about what being anxious is like. It's not a reasonable thing, it won't go away just from reassurances.

People are complaining about the quality of conflict, not conflict in general. It's been repetitive. It doesn't matter that teens can be repetitive, that's not directly relevant to story writing. This series also started with conflict so how could anyone whose made it this far dislike the idea of conflict?
