I didn't say she's not committed I said she's not showing commitment. That's a communication failure on Misono's part. And I'm hardly holding how they got together over their heads I'm saying publicly their relationship hasn't advanced at all since then and Misono refuses to do anything to actually calm her girlfriend

The setting here is Japan. They cant be out and proud there, unfortunately is reality. At their age is social suicide. So idk what u expect Misono would do about it. Misono shouldnt have to calm Asuna, Asuna needs to stop this endless cycle of distrust in their relationship. How many time have Misono reassured her already? Asuna went as far as getting jealous of her own best friend and somehow Misono is the one wrong?

Yep, see that coming from a mile away. For someone who was fine just watching from afar Asuna now has been more worried about whats around them than enjoying what they have. She only shares her worries when things go south, despite how many times Misono says they have to go through it together.
The worst part is that everything Asuna has been doing has just been trampling all over Misono feelings, almost as if it meant nothing.
