@MrFixit I'd have to disagree with that. The Misuzu and Carol odd couple is essential, almost more so than Jun and Tomo. Misuzu and Tomo never really clicked as well for this Manga but Carol is a great foil for Misuzu's superiority complex. And Carol definitely isn't retarded.

Their philia love is surprising, believable, and makes this Manga. I think that the author is going to use Carol to break Misuzu out of her dependence on Tomo.
