@Poklamez Yup, I honestly don’t get all the anger in the comments right now. This is quite clearly tangible progress, albeit a bit more drama and cliche than desired, but honestly complaining that a manga is using cliches and tropes is like complaining that water is wet.

The cats out of the bag now, as it is there is rationally no going backwards from here. What Tomo is now so busy being afraid of has already happened. Once the drama and character development for Misuzu has run its course we’ll see where Yanagida will go from there.

If he tries to renege and go back to the status quo after all this then that’s when I’d would consider any outrage to be justified. This scenario was honestly too telegraphed to be worthy of it.

Okay, what i want to say is, nearly every main characters has growned or matured, Carol, Kou, Misuzu, Jun, etc but Tomo didn't change at all and while some manga can have the main character stay the same, this is not one of them. Tomo needs to mature in some way in order for them to date.
Also Misuzu clearly hasn't finish maturing yet.
Now if you don't mind, i am going back into my bunker.
