Maybe I'm enjoying this Reiwa romcom meta of just being communicative and empathetic more than I thought. How do people see jealousy here or a start of a triangle? Girl has some trauma - she was hiding from some other girls whom she maybe even knows or something, FML is basically her only friend I would assume, so she has a conflict of "interests" she want friend to be happy, but it could mean she would have far less time to spent with her if said friend ended up dating MC. The bro told her she is similar to MC so she "challenged" him to probably gauge how are they similar, and to maybe test MC if he is worthy of her friend, or simply just to understand herself better.

There is like 0 chance this will become a triangle, her ending up with bro is far more probable here. If she ends up being jealous of MC and his time spent with FML it could even be cute if done right.
