I've read until Chapter 30, and what I'll say is that it's very dissapointing.

The plot feels like the same kind of shit you'd see everywhere. It doesn't do anything unique/interesting imo. It feels very plain and generic. I guess the one unique thing about it is the cat part, but it's barely relevant to anything. It's so normal to the point of boredom. One or two jokes landed for me, but that's about it. I get that this is supposed to be a slow-burn type of romance, but that DOES NOT MEAN that it should be boring me to this degree.

The characters are what I'd say are the WORST part about the manga.

The MC is bland and not very fun to follow. Sometimes I wonder if he's secretly a robot with programmed emotions. Bro literally got injured on the face and he didn't show any hint of anger. Who are you? Buddha?

The heroine is okay. The cat thing is fine and all, but it feels like that's just her one character trait. It's not even that particularly interesting. There's nothing interesting in other aspects of her life aside from the cat part.

You might as well just forget every single other character aside from those two. It feels like every single one of them is just used as a plot device to move the story slightly further. They appear so infrequently that all you're going to get is dissapointment if you end up liking one of them. Since they appear so infrequently, they don't have any time to develop whatsoever, and they feel incredibly one-dimensional. The only saving grace they have are the Omakes that appear every once in a while.

You're starting to see the pattern right? There's just NOTHING UNIQUE here. It also doesn't do anything exceptionally well. It's just... mid? I would much rather read something completely garbage just so I can laugh at it. This doesn't give me any kind of emotion whatsoever. I can barely care about the romance, and I can barely feel a semblance of comedy anywhere.

Would I recommend it? Obviously fucking not. As of chapter 30, this shit is hella boring. Maybe it gets interesting later on, but for now it's just boring.

I question why this has a high score.
I don't hate it i just find it a pretty typical high school romcom.
it doesnt do anything offensive but it also doesnt do anything unique.
It's a nice read with cute and wholesome moments but it doesnt really do anything beyond that.
MC falls in love with the classmate he sits next to and that's it.
There relationship changes very gradually but that's all there is.
I know some people are okay with slow romcoms that are just the MCs hanging out with each other but i usually look for some type of plot progression and that hasnt really happened (as of chapter 31).
