A general TL note on the character names:

Eguchi is a classic (or dad jokey, depending on your personal perspective) pun that plays off the obvious visual resemblances between 江口 Eguchi and エロ ero.

Ikezawa 池沢 is punning off of 'ikesama' 池様, which is the classic male hot guy 'ikemen' but with an honorific promotion to -sama, i.e. a top-tier ikemen. Exactly why 'ikemen' is usually written katakana イケメン but 'ikesama' is usually kanji 池様 and absolutely nobody ever writes 'ikemen' as 池メン etc etc etc is fundamentally just one of those "because Japan" things and I don't advise thinking too hard about it.

This is just true for all languages. It's been said that every language can be super specific about the most random things. For example, in English, we say that we tie our shoes. Not "knot our shoelaces" or "tie the laces" it's always tie our shoes.
