you do realise it was established way in the beginning that she is fully aware he is the only one incapable of seeing her face? Hell the first few chapters are only him pulling tricks to find out.

you guys are thinking of it from the wrong perspective, the MC thinks he's in a mieruko-chan situation and if he acknowledges her being faceless he'll die or get cursed for the rest of his life. I mean, what if he tells her he can't see her face and then all of a sudden he just stops seeing everyone else's face.
