No, because Elrand is an Elf. But yes, he is the only local not part of that kingdom's royal court or the other worlders who know. He is also the only one to be told what a massive power this is in terms of logistics.

I was expecting the zombies to appear next to them in the "Safe zone" and that being why no one was there, it no longer being safe.

Wasn't it a specific Supermarket site? I remember it being like based on a real place at least in The anime but other than leveling up and unlocking other options it's mostly been food and sauces/condiments so far, with beer and makeup for the other gods/goddesses who caught Ninrir getting the original sweets offerings from him
Convenient for there to be a safe area tho you'd think whatever magic is repelling the monsters could be recreated to stop them from going into town other than just plot/worldbuilding bs

well, his power was originally meant for him to be a support buff/pack mule for the og 'hero's party' or so that got summoned with him, but other than too many ppl knowing only the gods seem to be spoiled by it.
he lucked out meeting fel, getting dragged into dungeons aside. if the familiars were a bit more chill i can imagine him doing a traveling food cart too lol (if not him setting aside a day to cook for all the adventurers in the guild or something before their quests to boost them)
@EchoGirl I remember in the first chapter once he realized the buffs his food provides he knew the moment someone found out he'd be captured to do someone's bidding so knew he had to keep quiet and has been for the most part. Ironically he still kind of is forced to with the gods as you mentioned but at least it's just because they like stuff lol
I'm honestly glad Elrand is part of that trust circle, tbh I love what a goofy guy he is and would be cool if he finds ways to tag along and make his guild's assistant miserable.

yeah plus he was a former s rank himself before he became guildmaster so he doesn't rly need 'help' versus just wanting mc to occasionally involve him in dragon stuff or so lol but yeah i don't know if anyone else has an appraisal skill versus any one he feeds simply 'feeling' better (tho a lot of times he just cooks a lot of what fel hunts versus added stuff unless the spices also gives a boost as opposed to the in-store meat)
