Okay, is the whole "dismantling" thing just a quirk of the word used in Japanese?
Because in English, no matter its actual meaning, the term "dismantling" generally refers to inanimate objects. Applying the term "dismantling" to corpses sounds really weird.

@The5thSeraph I don't think there are many other words that could be used to describe taking apart an animal, unfortunately.

"Skinning" tends to be the default in English, though it is rather more specific in which action it refers to.
"Dismembering" also works, though again that refers primarily to the removal of limbs.
Honestly even "harvesting" the monster parts works better than "dismantling".
