This makes me sad looking at the mansion in this state. You know you had a great memory with it but at the same time you wish to return to those days again but it's impossible.

@Akxera

wouldn't be even surprised about that... they are as chaotic and reckless spender as they can be...

which to be honest, not really suffer any "major" consequences when spending a lot... :|

Imagine dying in a haunted house cause your teacher was flirting with his wife.

@Celiohogane I really want the joke to be they come across Tama, who has run away from home again and has holed up in the old mansion to sulk for a while.

To those who wonder why the mansion was abandoned, If you havent finished reading the Hayate no Gotoku! manga. Hisui, Nagi's friend who is also a candidate successor for the Sanzenin inheritance, took over every Sanzenin property while Negi became a mangaka. So probably, the Sanzenin mansion was abandond due to Hisui's recklessness or she just simply lives in some other place like Mykonos or Mikado's Castle. Also yeah, It's very much likely that this is the mansion from Hayate since this is not the first time that Kenjirou Hata has done a crossover from his other works (Read "These two will be married in 100 days")

Edit: Right, seems like "Kaguya" has some connection with the mansion? according to the newest chapter.

Its true that your eye adapts with the lights and the more you are used to using the flashlight it'll get blind dark once its out, so the premise is that if you adapt to the darkness you'll have better time with surroundings.
But a human eye can only use so much light thats available to help them see. Even in a full moon light, when its in a closed building relying on your eye alone is not gonna be a good thing its just better to use flash light and see detail's you need to know instead of getting superstitious in what you see and mistaking a lot of things.
