I’m just saying but people’s health can be negatively affected by fright (someone could have a heart attack, pass out (and one of the most dangerous things is for people standing up to fall straight down on their heads), or worse). We know the mc was on the verge of death at one point; the author easily could have made it so when he survived he had a bad constitution or heart. And no one consented to being subjected to purposeful fake scare tactics in the mansion. They should be worried about getting sued or you know killing someone (had those girls a couple of chapters ago been a little more scared they probably would have ignored the command and jumped out the window). This current action sequence does not bode well for the club (actually probably school’s) lawyers.
