Thanks for the chapter
It was written in the data Tokiko left that it also regeneratesI know that Nasa is genius and would certainly find a way to make Tsukasa normal human begin again (otherwise she would be eternal virgin due to regeneration), I can't imagine how he inferred it from the fact that hair barette holds the same properties? I don't see the connection, Sherlock
As creepy as it sounds, the decoded report mentions Tsukasa being entirely vaporized somehow and still being able to regenerate. They probably did not use a nuke to test that, but for her the difference is likely irrelevant.imagine dropping a nuke on Tsukasa. There won't be anything left to regenerate lol. 🗿
Look for the game "Lost Odyssey".Sauce?
j would legit cry for a long time if that happens,I hope tsukasa doesn't become old instantly when she loses the immortality that would be depressing
Or maybe this isn't a plot hole and intentionally used to hint at how to counter this advanced technology. I am calling it technology because aliens are involved, so calling it magic feels off.If I remember correctly, the elixer "burns" the user alive and from that they are in a perpetual state of regeneration. Not only would her burette regenerate, the original clothes she was wearing that the time would probably do so as well, but she's changed clothes so many times, they are probably long forgotten to the plot and the author
To be honest, immortality has long been treated as a curse in fiction, particularly for the good of heart, and this story has been no exception. Tsukasa really does want to just reach a natural end (it's been her wish to face Kaguya on the moon and have her turn her back to normal for 1400 years, more or less), and even the current incarnation of Kaguya has made the argument that immortality is a terrible thing, back when they first mentioned the hourai elixir in the manga (Ch.141). The original Kaguya also talked similarly negatively about 'immortality' in a roundabout way when referring to the 'envoy' that was coming to take her, just before the Emperor forces her to admit she doesn't want to leave (Ch.204).Even better would be that Nasa achieves immortallity too, so that she can't outlive him and they'll be forever togetherI hope they grow old together and stuff
Probably because said series was also referencing the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter.Hearing the "Hourai Elixir" immediately reminds me of a certain series.....
But we already know she was born a normal human, and only became immortal with the elixir left by Kaguya's first incarnation. Her name is also something she wasn't given at birth, either. She forgot her birth name given to her by her parents. Tsukasa was a name given to her after her rebirth as an immortal by Shotoku, literally called back to here on page 12.Just accept that she is an elder god and her name is shortened to Tsukasa since to hear her full name would drain you of all your sanity points.
